 e:\n\nThesis:  The sixth saying from the Cross is the word of triumph –
  “It is finished.”  The great shout\, “Finished!” was the final e
 vidence that God’s plan of salvation was completed.\n\nA. “It is finis
 hed” – John 19:30\n\n 	Matthew 27:50 – “And when Jesus had cried o
 ut again in a loud voice\, he gave up his spirit.”\n 	Mark 15:37 – “
 With a loud cry\, Jesus breathed his last.”\n 	Matthew 27:51 – “At t
 hat moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
 ”\n\nB.  Why do believers in Christ so often live as though God’s pla
 n of salvation is unfinished?\n\n 	The forgiveness of sins and the joy of 
 a guilt-free life wanes.\n 	We fall into the trap of being saved by grace 
 but sustained by works – the “joy robber.”\n\nC. Conclusion:  Holy 
 Communion: The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed.
